I have a dachshund who loves shoes. He does not chew on them (thank goodness) but we find shoes that are in the wrong room. I’ve also caught him CUDDLING my shoe!

I think that shoes are an obvious treasure for doggos, a strong scent object of their human. Our family German shepherd was always burying dads shoes in the garden, keeping something for herself.

Was looking after my friend (doggo) who I share time with with my ex. Late at night he got all excited and lead me around the garden, then dug up a bone and gave it to me. I pretended to have a bit of a munch and wept for the gift. He dug up other bones to eat but left that one for me.
