For both the setup in the OP and in the grasshopper boards, the data is sent wirelessly to a computer for recording. I think with the current size/weight of solid state memory, future boards could replace the radio with a data recorder without getting any heavier. Of course if you are working with larger animals then both could easily fit.

I’d love to have a video of one of those bugged bugs walking across trumps desk. Trump would short out about the democrats and bugged bugs and from there it would be easy to invoke 25th amendment on him. True irony would be to use the bugs video of trump losing it. In such times as these its easy to be amused
