But you know, there’s a mom-n-pop repair shop near me, and I would love to give them my business, until I learned repairing my laptop would cost as much as a new laptop. I hate loading up the landfill with cadmium, but I wish it was easier for somebody to make a living at repair. I remember having a neighborhood vacuum cleaner repair shop, and they must have made money, because it was there for years and years.

Youtube Town Hall just sounds dystopian.

Reading that book about fiber networking has made me upset that I can’t serve videos from my home with my unsymmetric bandwidth allotment.
