Tracking the de-Trumpification of federal government

There’s a lot more going on at the federal level to undo Trump’s disastrous term in office and the damage his permissive blanket of corruption created than just Biden firing some folks in the Executive branch. I figured this would be a good place to provide a clearinghouse on clean-up stories.

I’ll start: Senate Democrats have introduced S 1, the For The People Act of 2021 (PDF overview), with a sweeping scope of changes and enhancements to requirements surrounding voter registration, election security, Presidential and Congressional conflicts of interest, inaugural committee regulation, FEC changes, and both public and private campaign donations and ads. Most of it reads like a point-by-point run-down of every ethics and norms violation committed by Trump and his campaign, as well as responses to ethics violations like those of Perdue and Loeffler (no ban on holding stock though, just prohibitions from serving on boards).
