Doesn’t jesus say also that the spirit of the lord would be with gatherings of two or more christians? Don’t the psalms also say to make a joyful noise unto the lord? So which is it? Worshiping quietly in secret by oneself? Or loudly in public as a congregation? Remember, jesus explicitly said the old testament law is to remain. So just saying “we don’t do old testament law” isn’t a theologically valid excuse, unless you’re going to say jesus was a liar, or mistaken in what he said.
