Reminder: Trump can’t pardon himself for these state crimes. Which also means that he can’t promise pardons to his co-conspirators.

It has been noted elsewhere that it may be no coincidence that the bail bondsman defendant was the first to seek a deal that would keep him out of jail.

Yes, I would think a bail bondsman would be savvy as to what defense strategies are gonna succeed within the courts. I am supposing his guilty plea comes as distinctly ominous news for his co-defendants, unless their magamania has fully untethered them from “reality” at this point.

I always knew that loyalty to Trump would only hold as long as it didn’t really cost the loyalists anything. I wish I could see the big orange windbag slowly collapse as conspirator after conspirator realize they don’t owe him a single thing.
