This guy keeps an amusing running twitter thread, every post is a quote from cheetolini’s staff or, occasionally, GOP members. Here’s the latest one:
It can hardly be disputed (though some out there are definitely trying) that this presidency has not been a good thing. But all this poetry seems a bit extravagant. Does it not require considerable extrapolation to arrive at statements such as these? I can hardly conceive of speaking this way about an actual personal acquaintance.
Oh, Holy Fucksocks, Rob!
A pox upon anyone who requested that!
He serves out his term, resignation, is removed as unable to perform his duties using amendment 25/4, or impeachment. Or he has a massive heart attack or stroke.
I’m hoping the Russia Probe turns up both collaboration in election tampering and money laundering, and he not only gets impeached but loses his whole business. Then he can spend the rest of his short life giving hate-rallies for an increasingly small and bitter clique of true believers.
Oh please, let us try anyway.
About 3 months ago, Rebecca Solnit wrote an article that says the same thing, but in a more profound, tragic manner. It’s not so much that Trump is a human void, it’s that a bottomless, endless wanting has consumed this man, robbing him of his most of his essential humanity.
The only part of the election cycle I liked.
Going to have to disagree with you on this one. I’m a dog person – truth be told, I like them more than most people – and I’ve lived with multiple dogs continuously over the past 20 years…
… but all dogs are assholes. I think that’s one of the reasons we love them so much. Those of us who don’t actually want to be an asshole can enjoy it vicariously from their canine friends!
That “human” part is debatable. Heck, even the void has vacuum energy, so it’s not really NOTHING with a capital N. I wouldn’t want to insult it.
When I see the pasty white circles around Trump’s eyes, I can’t help but picture him…
Trigger warning. Graphic and disturbing description ahead…
lying in his tighty-whities in a tanning bed somewhere in the White House.
…but not as cute.
Yay! Cheeto-Zombie! Yay!
DISAPPOINTED! or, well, whatever…
My mama always said “If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all.”
… and it has bigger hands.
Doesn’t that admonition negate its intent?
Isn’t there some sort of documentary about an expedition into Trump’s soul? I think it was called The Navidson Record.
I agree with this. With Trump, there’s no “there” there.
Trump doesn’t have opinions about issues. He hasn’t worked through solutions to problems. He doesn’t have a worldview through which he interprets world events. He doesn’t give a shit about issues, problems, or world events.
He’s got the apathy of George Bush and the egomania of… Donald Trump, I guess.
