Maybe it’s just me. I live in a >100-year-old house.
But aren’t buildings supposed to stay standing for longer than 36 years?

In recent years I believe there has been an industry wide shift in cheaper building that cuts corners and goes up faster. 
Also, this is a trump building, so you can bet on him having used the cheapest bid possible, and then probably stiffed the contractors.

Which begs the question, when will all the grand statues of Our Beloved Leader be torn down and removed from nearly every town square in this country? Oh wait that didn’t happen in this timeline?
