Edited to add: apparently there’s no way to just put the ‘c’ in parantheses as it’s supposed to be written; it defaults (no correction that I can find) to the copyright symbol now. I’ve noticed that twice in the last week.

We can always disrupt the markup by throwing bogus HTML tags in the middle of things
