Haha
I hear the benefits package is pretty good.
Trump Bus is the Best Bus. Dependable, predictable, always on schedule.
Pardon the tire marks.
This seems like a real-life Prisonerâs Dilemma: youâre arrested, and you know others have been or will also be arrested, and the ability to walk away without significant prison times goes to the first prisoner to break ranks and implicate the hgher-ups.
"Trump told a crowd in Sarasota, Florida, on Saturday night that âevery companyâ does âfringe benefits.â
Umm, yeah, the whole point is whether those fringe benefits are reported as income and taxed or provided as a workaround to avoid paying tax on incomeâŚ
Iâm also curious at what point they stop being âfringeâ benefits. The current case has the fringe being a pretty large share of overall compensation.
âAmazon said in 2019 the Pentagon decision was full of âegregious errors,â which it suggested were a result of âimproper pressure from Trump.â The company cited a 2019 book that reported Trump had directed the Defense Department to âscrew Amazonâ out of the JEDI contract.â
Ladies and gentleman, the logical conclusion of Donald Trump!
Owning a copy of Mein Kampf, maybe, but keeping it in your bedside reading material?
So heâs going to prove that he didnât violate their terms of service by publishing misinformation?
Trump-grade Lawyers vs. Silicon Valley-grade lawyers is going to be quite the spectacle.
OMG, and we know he doesnât actually read, so putting it there was just a signal.
This is starting to seem like what some people are calling, âa witch hunt.â
Maybe itâs the large print edition with illustrations?
I saw a legal analyst saying the suit pretty much alleges that social media companies work in concert with the federal government and so the first amendment applies.
If you think reality is a Rorschach test then I can almost see the argument. Though even in that kaleidoscope world I think the argument might be significantly undercut by Trump being the head of the executive branch at the time the bans were imposed.
Itâs that age old question: Can the president make a first amendment right violation that even he cannot be protected from?
âFGâ?
Maybe, Fat Guy?
FĂźhrer des Gesindels is tempting, but twitter says it is Former Guy.
