Never underestimate the stupidity and greed of the American taxpayer. As long as you give them something they’ll let the rich have their massive tax cut. They don’t care if the 1% get $500,000, the .1% get $5,000,000 and the .01% get $500,000,000. As long as they get their $500. That’s how Bush-43 got two unfunded tax cuts through and we’re still paying for it.

Yes. My theory is that it’s too difficult for the average adult to keep track of who their Congresscritter is, what their position is on various issues, and how they voted in the past, not to mention the other 532 or so legislators. Much easier to keep track of the one president guy, especially when the media talks about him hourly.
