TSA threatens to stop accepting driver's licenses from nine states as of Jan 10

True story, one of the credit agencies listed me as dead for quite a few years.

My father and I have the same name and I had rented his house in the past. Apparently, when he died and, acting as the agent of his estate, I cancelled his credit cards, at least one card company in concert with the credit agency, got me instead of him.

I found this out when refinancing my house. We thought it was weird and we thought we got it addressed electronically. Three years latrer, it happened again. I had to write a letter, include my father’s death certificate, and point out that the person with my name and this social security number was dead but the one with that number was me, and alive.

I think it is cleared up now.

Yeah, that’s pretty cool.

Not so here in WI. It’s a totally independent process and particularly annoying for the poor/unlucky. It’s not like we couldn’t just use our heavily audited Medicaid Member database or Food Share membership to cover those guys, but nah…that’d be all convenient for them. Can’t have that!
