Oh we mostly agree indeed!
Full disclosure, i grew up in a food insecure house, we often did not have enough food or even heat for the house. And as a young adult going to college I had a food budget of $50 a month. I know the benefit of home cooking! My Mom managed to cook for 3 kids on retail wages while going to night school. We didnt eat fast food because we couldnt afford it!
I would prefer more action on social assistance and support for economically disadvantaged areas than smary white dudes who probably never missed a meal doing youtube videos you know? Or people that actually lived it doing videos. How about that? Someone on food stamps sharing how they make the food a month?
I just get my back up when privileged people lecture the under privileged. Which hilariously when it comes to food and cooking has a huge tradition! I have a cookbook from the 19th century that is this very thing! A lot of rich people telling the poor how they can eat better on 2 shillings a week. LOL of course thr idea that maybe we should just pay the working class more never entera into these discussions… funny that.
