These sound good
I’ve only had the more usual types of mochi, filled with green tea kind of paste, red bean paste and the ice cream varieties. The ones in the vid are new to me

I’ve got a recipe!:
6 Cups Dashi stock (make it the hard way, or use the insta stuff…)
2 Tablespoons Sake
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
3/4 Teaspoons kosher salt
about 1/3 cup each of Daikon (Japanese radish) and Carrots cut into strips
about 1/2 to 2/3 cup Mizuna (Japanese dandelion greens)
cut some carrots into flower shapes for decor and toss 'em in
add 1 mochi for each person (this recipe served 2 adults and a child that eats like an adult, with a little bit left over).
Some people like the baked/charred mochi, I like mine soft and gooey, so I get fresh mochi and toss it in.
