There’s a decades old urban legend that spiking a drink with eye drops will cause severe diarrhea so people will “just a prank, bro!” someone’s drink not realizing how deadly it is. (Worse yet it’s also known to be used as a date rape drug since it can cause drowsiness and memory loss.)
Tetrahydrozoline, the chemical in many OTC eye drops is some seriously nasty shit that you don’t want to ingest. Just a tiny amount can be very harmful. Keep in mind an eye drop dose nominally has only 0.05% of this chemical.
