Something I’ve been curious about for a long time: If Representatives and Senators stayed in their districts year round and voted and interacted remotely, it would be much harder for lobbyists to access them since they’d be spread out across the US instead of conveniently pooled in a single location. Conversely, their constituents would have much greater access to their Congresspeople. Would this decrease corruption?
