then solved the problem for them for good.

Let’s hope they do better than the US does handling unlocked phones. I have an LG G7 that was bought unlocked and am using it on Verizon. Verizon only gives you access to voicemail through phones they sell, which means you have to use third party apps and be creative with it.

Sounds like classic telco behavior.

Telcos: “Regulation is unnecessary and burdensome. Let the free market dictate what conduct consumers will accept”
Also telcos: proceeds to immediately demonstrate why they need to be regulated through their anti-consumer behavior
