I suspect (with good reason) that May would have been happy being known for his other contributions to the world as an astrophysicist. But Queen took off, and he went along for the ride and didn’t complain.

This is almost enough to make me want to start stamp-collecting again, a pastime I abandoned after a half-hearted attempt in my youth.
Instead I will just save the image of Freddie Mercury in an ermined crown and cape, and use it as my background. I love it!!!
