I watch lotsa videos from a horsewoman named Tara.* She has taught her horses to pick up whichever foot is closest when she simply says, “Foot.” She’ll finish picking out [cleaning] her Arabian’s forefeet, and by the time she’s moved back to one of his flanks, the nearest hind foot will already be up & waiting 
*Tara is also her yout00b yousername, should anyone be interested. Instead of sending them away to a professional trainer, she trains her horses herself. She says that is now a rarity in the UK.
