Overripe nectarines who are extra sweet & extra squishy also make a messy but most welcome equine treat, esp for the oldies. They do require either pitting, or the pit must be clung to like a limpet while they noms around it.

The note mentions Neptune, as in the planet, which has frozen methane, a space fact. That wouldn’t smell though. (Sounds like a thing that would make a 6-year old laugh: Frozen Farts.)
