That channel has a ton of those vids. Really interesting to watch the grace of their movements in slow motion.
Birds are so lightning quick; casual observation doesn’t give me much as to why they always move furtively as they do. I may be misreading it, but the so-mo shows the woodpecker checking out the food (yes, it seems okay); the benefactor (this is who gives me food and causes me no harm); and the surrounding area for predators before flying off.
Shhh. Don’t wake up the sleeping vertically oriented pod.
