As soon as I saw the clock photo I thought “This has to be Tim Hunkin.”
I’d watch The Secret Life Of Machines whenever it was on, even if I’ve seen the episode twice before, and I still hear the theme song whenever my washing machine goes off-balance.

Last year he uploaded all the Secret Life of Machines episodes to his YouTube channel, with 10 or 15 minutes of new commentary (notes on the episode’s production, updates on the technology). This is part of his new series “The Secret Life of Components” but all his videos are really good.
