If only there were some mechanism in the law whereby people who gain from other people’s deaths and suffering could be assured of a punishment that doesn’t leave them living a posh life of luxury…

Have each and every one of them swear in court that these secret accounts don’t exist, on penalty of a decade in the slammer. Even with the IRS going easy on the wealthy, one of them would slip up eventually and expose the larger web of accounts and implicate the other family members.

Just prisoner’s dilemma the whole bunch of them.
Offer the first one to turn on all of the others a 0.01% cut of the accounts.

What about the money they made off their divested drug-pushing profits? You know, interest, capital gains, etc. That money is just as dirty.
