Using colored paper, help a neighbor with "Isolation Communication"

As stated above, there needs to be a marker for time. Change colour/shape every day.
Same shape/colour two days in a row means something is up.

Unrelated to old folks, but as the harried parent of an elementary school kid who’s now in the house (and without a gaggle of other human larvae to bash about with all day), she can get pretty rambunctious.

One fun thing that people with kids are doing is a “bear hunt” where people put teddy bears in their windows.

Kids whose activity outside of their yards is limited to walking dogs around the neighborhood, or a bike ride (sans the usual gathering of the neighborhood gang) can go around and count the number of bears they can find in the neighborhood. Ours was a bit excited to count, and as it catches on, she’s more excited to see the number rise.

OT, but related to semaphore, have you heard this episode? Turns out the peace sign is from semaphore, from the nuclear nonproliferation movement.
