In 1969 Panton designed the canteen of Der Spiegel.

In 2012 DER SPIEGEL moved into a new building, and the cafeteria moved into the “Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg” as a permanent exhibition.
You can visit and even rent it as a location.
