I’ve seen this going around the past few days. Apparently it is all the classic movie references include some that Pixar didn’t even know existed. The references that are obviously references are really neat. But there are a bunch throw in there that I really think they are stretching to make fit (or maybe to make the video longer) – “The Birds” reference comes to mind.
Some of those are a real stretch. A flock of birds flying around, so of course it can’t be anything other than The Birds, Sheesh.
I know it’s cute and all to call the transforming car a Men In Black reference, but if you’re talking about transforming cars you have to talk about Inspector Gadget.
The bit at 4:36 with the elevator shaft is actually from the Hot Rock (1972)
