These are wonderful! I think the caption for #23 is supposed to be “Bela Lugosi’s Dead.”

This one would have been so much better if it had been Bela Lugosi, and not Ed Wood’s chiropractor.

It’s interesting how the evolution of our language usage (and changes in the way we talk about relationships and related issues) has altered what, for the most part, were probably meant to be pretty inane and harmless captions for kids.
Or were they?
