There’s a whole species of lizards (maybe more than one) that are all female and reproduce asexually. Except not so asexually, because they do have sex with each other before producing eggs.

All praise our lesbian lizard saviors…

Yep, that’s where they got their name - it isn’t the random word mash-up it might seem. The “Jesus Christ lizard,” aka the “Jesus lizard,” aka the “common basilisk.”
