(But that word “sing” does not mean what you think it means. I was disappointed not to hear the words. Try “whistle”.)

Amateur didn’t even get the tune right.

Don’t these wee beasties live to about 140 years? “Great, I’ve got to spend the rest of my life with a tone-deaf cockatiel.”

A) cockatiels live 15-20 years as pets (except mine lived to 32!), and B) by the time you’ve whistled “tequila” at your bird enough times for them to memorize it, you are sick of it and never want to hear it again, so the ending will always be a little ragged. But even when mine was a crotchety old man, he could still play the hits and would whistle “woody woodpecker” out of the blue. I miss that guy!
