Super cool! It’s a vulture, though, not an eagle.
Video for bbs:
It looks like it’s nibbling on the selfie stick.
Whoops. Thanks.
The vulture is trained to do that. It’s nibbling on the selfie stick because there’s meat on there to get the bird to do just that. This was in the news several months back.
It has been pointed out to me we have shared this 2x prior to this, the 3rd share, so clearly, Boing Boing & Vultures while Paragliding == YAY
Vulture was like, “Finally! A rest stop in the skies.”
In Far Cry 3, if you take off in a hang glider close to any vultures, they’ll circle around you for the rest of your flight. If the developers at Ubisoft had seen this, I think they would have included a selfie stick in the game.
Also, “Delightful Creatures”
It is still something wonderful.
It’s still cool footage. I enjoyed watching it again.
Finding out that it’s more-or-less trained to do that takes some wonder out of it, but then adds some wonder back: someone got a vulture to do this on a regular basis.
Better share it again, just for good measure.
Right. Whether this is the first time or the hundredth time, it is a cool vulture trick.
Where is the camera mounted for this?
Probably something like this.
Some other eagles prefer an unorthodox approach when taking videos.
Thanks!
Someone just should remix this video with “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.
Por nada. You are welcome.
I only hope this camera didn´t disturb the bird.
