Was thinking the same thing about North, Central, and South Jersey. The accents very different.
To hear an imitated/exagerated downeast Maine accent find clips of “Bert and I” on Youtube or whatever. Rural New England accents in general are a bit similar to each other in certain ways, and quite distinct from Boston.
