Millefiori candy!

How many kids are sophisticated enough to know what a sushi roll looks like?
Probably country-dependent. It would be cool if it were savory like nori with soy and wasabi!
I’m worried about the confusion among adults. Next April Fool’s Day, I will be poking sushi rolls with a chopstick - just in case.
Yeah, they made a point of saying that it was sweet and fruity tasting, and not fishy. When I lived in Taipei a long time ago I used to visit a little bakery near one of my jobs for breakfast a couple of times a week, and my favorite thing they had there was tuna danish.
I love tuna in many different forms, but this was cooked tuna mixed with a sweet mayonnaise and baked nestled in pastry dough like any other kind of danish. It was sweet and savory and wonderful. They also have the dried, flattened squid or cuttlefish in many Asian countries that is sugar-cured rather than salted, (or with maybe just a little salt).
I think that fish-flavored candy would totally work if prepared by someone that knew what they were doing. It probably already exists somewhere in Asia, and we have lots of examples of sweet and savory combos in Western cuisine as well - just not fishy-flavored candy.
