I love this. The dry and mannered tone really works, and with all good comedy it gets to a serious and fundamental truth (this one about authoritarian environments). What a multi-talented individual.

Sometimes it seems like if you present something as comedy, people will laugh, they will see humor in something that isn’t really meant to be a joke. (I’m not saying he isn’t doing comedy, just that the audience laughs at points where I’m not sure there was a joke intended.)

I’m not saying his delivery was stiff, but I’d rename his act Leanoard CoBot.
I would love to hear this with the laughter removed! The dry humor would would best by itself
