Blasey Ford has been widley reported to have been subjected to threats, as has her family. And has cited fear of that as a reason for keeping her name out of it. And for the back and forth negotiations over how and when she’d testify.
Kavanaugh is attempting to counter that, as well as following on from it. So his family totally got attacked too bro. There’s a lot of having it both ways on the GOP side of this. It was wrong not to bring the accusations forth sooner, against her wishes. But it was wrong to bring them forth when they had her permission, because that violates her trust. These accusations should be taken seriously but they’re a ridculous conspiracy.
She’s repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly testified that she herself decided to go forward when it became clear that reporters would put her name out there. That this was done with her permission. And only once she gave her permission.
Feinstien has been regularly attacked for not putting Blasey Ford’s name in front of the senate without Blasey Ford’s permission.
You’re working awfully hard to make this into a bad, ineffective thing the DNC has done. So hard you’re rounding your way round to GOP talking points.

I am passing along suggestions to American viewers here to help expedite karma’s arrival to Kavanaugh, and the traitors on the Senate: The old white American straight men on the committee are eager for his confirmation vote, but whatever American citizens still have backbone, voice and conscience can do the following before Tuesday
- Find office numbers of two senators and one rep.
- Call. Say no Kavanaugh, because elections, and protect Mueller.
- Extra points: find creepy donors or FARA connections. Mention them.
- All offices.
Extra credit for those with extra time, resources and righteous fury:
5. Find those senators’ and rep’s donors from OpenSecrets.org and CALL them. But be calm and polite.
Edited to add: If you’re fortunate to enjoy all-women, all-Democratic representation in your state and LD as I am, note that #1 does not restrict you from calling only your representatives. You can also pass along these directions to like-minded citizens whose representatives need extra-convincing, as I have to you.

This is rich - nobody said everybody who drinks beer is a sexual assaulter. But some how because that is not true, it means that he is not a sexual assaulter.

I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this and say it’s very likely that both families have been subjected to threats and harassment.
But assuming that’s true, it doesn’t do anything to bolster Kavanaugh’s credibility because he didn’t willingly expose himself to those threats. Dr. Ford could have avoided the public eye entirely by keeping her story secret. The fact that she’d endure such threats when she had nothing to gain from lying makes it that much more likely that she’s the one telling the truth.
