I said the same thing about GA. Stacey Abrams has shown the game plan for these guys: motivate, activate and engage. Voter suppression in 2021 cannot deal with that. It is all about demotivation and inconveniencing the opposition. With a motivated base, they can face consequences. Also, along those lines, focusing on the statehouse is vital, to start to de-gerrymander the voting districts.

That’s wild, so not only have you got the officer putting himself in danger by delaying their advance but he seems to have made a last minute decision there to lead them in the opposite direction from the open door knowing they’d likely follow him. That guy should be commended.

This is one more piece of what we will eventually find out: dozens of reps, senators, their aides, Capitol Police, administrators, the pentagon, the white house and POTUS… all colluding with the terrorists to orchestrate the attack. It is nothing short of luck that this putsch was unsuccessful. And there is no doubt that this was a coup.

I am a cynical person. I don’t believe only one Capitol Police officer inside the Capitol last Wednesday was coordinating with the insurrectionists. I greatly suspect the officer that shot his gun one time was not in on the conspiracy.
