It’s not a good idea to feed wild animals. It gets them habituated to humans and dependent on humans as a food source, plus that human diet is probably not good for them (although raccoons are famous for helping themselves, via the garbage can). In my city, it is illegal to feed wildlife.

As the saying goes, “a fed bear is a dead bear.”

I imagine it applies to raccoons as well.
