This has been Rick Astley’s year. His set at Glastonbury was great. The same band and singers as at Leicester, too.

Rick Astley has really turned out very well; what a top performer and a real personality. It also helps that he can look like Ron Manager at times; marvellous. I really appreciate the use of Pub Rock & Roll Endings #247 to close out the track.

Also, you know you are old when your favourite tunes and acts make it to Radio 2. I guess that, in a few more decades, they will shift to Radio 4.
