Watch the Rolling Stones arranging and recording Sympathy for the Devil

That’s not her last album! There are two after that, though one was reworks of old material.

I love Pi, first time I heard it I had headphones on walking to work and as it headed to the chorus I started grinning uncontrollably “she’s not, is she? She … Yup, here it comes ‘threeeeeeeeeee point one four one five nine…’” what chutzpah!

She could sing her shopping list and I’d love it.

OK, but if the category is “videos of cover songs that are better than the original videos of cover songs” then the subtitled version of “With A Little Help From My Friends” wins hands down. It makes me LOL every time.

omg, This Mortal Coil is still one of my favorite group collaboration things. i love every album.

as far as Cohen’s “Hallelujah” goes, k.d. lang’s version is actually the best in my book.

I don’t think I’ve heard it! Will check it out later…

But Cale’s version is really hard to beat.

Yea, he’s great. He plays with Karl Denson as well. Been with Tiny Universe for a long time.
Also, one of my favorite guitarists touring now (as it were) also plays with the band. DJ Williams. He’s so good.

I did get the Director’s Cut, her ninth. Never got around to her last - 50 words etc? Also I enjoyed most of Aerial, but I loved every track on at least the first five albums. She is haunting but, as you say, I think maybe she has started singing her shopping list. Don’t get me wrong, still love her.

The video for this article seems to have been removed from YouTube due to a copyright complaint. I recently edited the film to just The Stones parts. Here’s a link Remove the gaps to work - . ht tps : //ok. ru/ video/ 2176725813788
