The molten wax is very beautiful.

While I enjoy the concept and all of the components individually, for some reason my lizard brain keeps telling me that they are using way too much wax.

If the wax is pressed too hard to where it is thin, the seal can crack. While that would have been a problem for sealed documents back in the day, it’s an esthetic problem today. It’s better to err on the side of caution, especially since these are usually used for very high-end invitations and weddings and so on.
