I like where you’re going with this!
Perhaps the “cue” could be a battering ram on a chain(s), hung from a track to allow positioning around the table, like a crane trolly. Player pulls the battering ram back, takes aim, and let’s it go to strike the ball.
Trying to decide if a single chain or 2 chains to hang the ram from the trolly. Seems to me a single chain would require more skill from the operator, but might allow some “English”.
Have we invented a new game?
