What a good, happy kitty. That half-meow/half-purr is a great sound.

I can’t tell if the cat is playing the whole thing, or if it’s just playing the piano notes, while someone else added the synth notes to make it sound sinister.

It looked to me like this was set up so that the “synth notes” with a ton of sustain were the white keys and the simple tones without a ton of sustain were the black keys.

My take is that the sound patch starts with a piano sound and then the string sound swells up i.e. two sounds layered together. Like to see Horror Kitty play a theremin with it’s tail at the same time!
