I’ve been watching some Bergman lately, including the behind the scenes footage, and in one making of bit he acknowledges past trouble with hemorrhoids, so this skit seems extremely well researched.
This one scared the crap out of me as a kid:

There was another one where a child tried to retrieve something from power lines, but that one showed the kid paralyzed afterwards being wheeled around. THAT WAS the one that gave me nightmares.

This is the Keith Chegwin version that I saw at school, there is an earlier version with Peter Purves from Blue Peter.
I still clearly remember the moment my ex told me that she’d been taught that Black people couldn’t swim. She was 26 at the time, and just a few years from earning degrees in Anthropology and then Archaeology. Smart girl, but grew up in an absolutely dreadful part of NC.

After one of my aunts spent nearly an hour repeatedly warning about the risk of area rugs as a tripping hazard, I wondered the same thing. Has AARP or another group been citing rugs as the number one cause of hip fractures or something?
The narrator does sound rather Fry-esque.
