So technically it was the first instance of “fucking” not “fuck” being uttered in a mainstream film

(For different values of ‘mainstream’ one suspects.)

And why did the pro think being told his fucking head was coming off had anything to do with his mother?

Mash was the first R Rated movie I had ever seen. I think I was like 13 or 14 and my older sister took me . It could have been anything but this one was life changing. Wife and I just last week watched Prairie Home Companion
