One subject that I don’t see much about is how anarcho-punk influenced acid techno in the 90s and 2000s. There were squat parties where one room would have punk bands and the other room would have DJs (who were often in the punk bands as well) playing acid and hardcore techno.

(hopefully this isn’t too off topic)

In generally, I think this is something that probably needs a closer look - how more politically inclined punks influenced people in other genres.
