Is there a violent version?
Really lovely.
Reminds me to pull out a cookbook I haven’t used in a while:
A Zen priest and author of The Tassajara Bread Book interweaves recipes and meditations, presenting a range of delicious treats, including Irish oat cakes and ginger muffins, while reflecting on the spiritual aspects of food and life.

AKA “oh crud we ran out of steamed rice for the curry”!
HowToBasic has probably got you covered…
Ryoya Takashima has all kinds of food-related videos at his Peaceful Cuisine YouTube vlog. I think the first one I saw was him roasting coffee beans. I totally geeked out on his roaster.
Curry joints are big in Japan so I wouldn’t find the mix with udon so much as violent as transformative. I’m not sure that Japanese curry is the same as Indian curry as Indian curry is not the same as the Westernized version.
Tampopo!

food, love, sex. love of food, food sex, it has it all!
