Were Nazis really Socialist?

In terms of high school social studies, socialism sounds great because you get free stuff and free services. The reality is slaves essentially have to make the free stuff and provide the free services, while everyone else lives like kings. Why do you thinknazis had work camps? Nazis killed anyone in those camps not capable of work.

Except that isn’t socialism and even if it was it most certainly isn’t libertarian socialism.

Welfare is guillotine insurance, usually introduced by liberals and conservatives to neutralise socialism if it is gaining popularity. For example, Winston Churchill and Otto von Bismarck.

More educational links are welcome as always, but if he’s not going to bother at least skimming the earlier comments that demonstrate his category error then he’s not going to read them, either.

That’s not socialism, you really need to at least have a passing knowledge of how it works before telling people it’s evil.

Talk to the Hitler

[

Edit](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Political_views_of_Adolf_Hitler&action=edit&section=8)

In Hitler’s mind, communism was a major enemy of Germany, an enemy he often mentions in Mein Kampf . During the trial for his involvement in the Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler claimed that his singular goal was to assist the German government in “fighting Marxism”.[107] Marxism, Bolshevism, and communism were interchangeable terms for Hitler as evidenced by their use in Mein Kampf :

Later in his seminal tome, Hitler advocated for “the destruction of Marxism in all its shapes and forms”.[

Oh, you and your facts. It’s right there in the name! (For every complex problem, there is a simple obvious solution that is wrong. For this very simple problem, the answer is NO.) And i am in agreement with the post upthread, how did we get past 100 posts on a topic where the answer is NONONONONO!!!

You’re absolutely right, I just jumped over it… I really don’t have an opinion one way or the other, i just have a high-school-social-studies education on these topics. I should be more pro-socialist, I get free government medicare and ss income, and haven’t worked in nearly 20 years, and i’m middle aged. This website e-mailed me this topic, because a week ago i commented on something else. I deleted the e-mail, but might figure out a way to unsubscribe, I’m not a conversationalist.

The problem is USians’ flawed semantics. NOT FREE. Socialists understand this. Conservatives try to push the lie.

The truth? TAXES. Under socialism, everyone’s taxes would support all people equitably, and reduce the burden against disposable income.

Click on your picture (the green circled R) in the right hand corner of the screen. A drop down menu will appear. In that menu, directly below your R, there will be three icons, a ribbon, an envelope, and a gear. Click on the gear. You’ll go to a new screen now. On the left side of the screen, click Emails. Switch all settings to never email.

It is simple to test this hypothesis: Gate crash a neonazi meeting and start to Sing “The Internationale”. Wait til the hilarity ensues.

That’s a great story. I always suspected that it inspired the Mad Magazine game.
