From my perspective Monkeypox looks like my wife answering the phone 10 times a day over our long weekend for query Monkeypox (Infectious Disease Physician on call).

Rashes are really hard to properly classify, and there are many (also unpleasant) things that look like Monkey Pox even to a trained eye. Examination is a start, but testing is critical to a diagnosis. When phsyicians have to call other more specialized physicians I would caution against going down the self diagnosis rabbit hole.
