The only objection I have is that it diverts resources away from the food supply. Like how bio diesel efforts a while back caused large spikes in the cost of certain grains.
Weirdly, I have a gut reaction that pigs are so intelligent that if we were able to communicate with them, they’d probably prefer that they were being slaughtered to save lives through medical advancements rather than simply being eaten. I mean, within the context of not actually wanting to be slaughtered at all, of course!
The fact that they’re so related to us that their organs can be used in this way should be a clue for us.
