Well, the kid is 15. I hope that at 25 he’ll be making his own decisions. But as a mother to a guy I think I can strive to teach him to avoid being creepy. That he doesn’t have to be ashamed of being chubby, goofy or awkward or making mistakes (he’s only 15!) but he has to own them and learn from them.
I can’t live his life for him but I can offer perspective and insight. I know he won’t listen to everything (c’mon, teenager!) but if something sticks I’m happy.
