Lighter fluid. Don’t take chances.
Also, don’t go all Hellraiser 2.
Shouldn’t this video just be giant flashing letters that say GO TO A DOCTOR?
I’ll just leave this here:
My daughter woke up one night with a black ant in her ear. We dabbed a tiny bit of honey just outside the ear canal to lure the little guy out. It ended up working, but not until AFTER we had been admitted to the ER. 1,000$ later…
Without looking at the video i can answer because i’ve had this happen to me as a kid. Use water to flush out the bug, should float up right away with a gentle squirt of water. We ended up going to the ER and they flushed it out in less than 5 seconds.

Aim the ear at the sun, or a bright light if there is no sun. That’s always worked for me, nice to now have a plan B!
A doctor once told me that you can often lure a bug out just by shining a flashlight into the ear. He also cautioned that bugs with wings (e.g., moths) can be particularly challenging because the wings make inward travel easy and outward travel nearly impossible. Go see a doc asap.
